Beef Burgundy (added 24-Dec-2003)

3 Pounds Beef Round Steak, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 Cup Burgundy wine
½ Pound mushrooms, sliced
1 can Golden Mushroom soup
1 package dried onion soup mix
1 pound bag small whole onions, frozen
Combine all ingredients in large (at least 3 quart) casserole dish. Cover and bake 3+ hours at 300° F.
Add more mushrooms and/or onions if desired.
Freezes well.
