t all started (as so many things do on this list <g>) when Melhi posted the "true" story of Mr. Schneider, the wooden dummy whom many of us regard as The Fifth Monkee, and the real spiritual leader of the group.

Just when enough time had elapsed that we thought we were all safe, the topic reared its ugly head yet again, this time to shed more light on the "Lost Years" of Mr. Schneider's military service. It's a startling tale, clearly the equal of anything cooked up by those supermarket tabloids...
